Bankruptcy Support Management

As a result of the court order of enforcement, the debtors or legal successors, as a rule, are deprived of their power to freely dispose of or use their assets (here: real estate). All rights and obligations arising from the property are transferred to the appointed administrator.

Among other things, the administrator must collect the rents or terminate leases as required. In addition, they have to protect the value of the property by eliminating defects and ensuring regular maintenance. Other typical roles would include responsibility for maintaining traffic safety and proper billing of the ancillary costs for the leases.

As part of our real estate management services, we offer administrators support for the temporary management of real estate for mandates commissioned by the courts. In close cooperation with the administrators, we create the prerequisites so that the administrators can professionally manage the properties involved. This is done by taking care to execute commissioned measures regardless of scope or magnitude, and every step of the way up to the return or handover of the properties as part of the auction process.

Finally, it is also clear to us that transparent reporting and decision processes are critical to the smooth functioning of a bankruptcy management mandate. This is why we ensure clean and structured processes that allow our clients the comfort of knowing the status of all the real estate and any salient issues at hand.
